JAMES E. JENKINS M.D.

Dr. James Jenkins is the owner and psychiatrist/MD on staff. His a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina who has over 30 years of experienced in the field of psychiatry. Dr. Jenkins is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is licensed through the National Board of Medical Examiners. As well as maintaining a private practice, Dr. Jenkins is the Medical Director for an intensive outpatient program in Sumter, SC through the Toumey Hospital


IRIS A. ELLIOTT L.P.C.

Ms. Iris has been working with Dr. Jenkins for more than 15 years. She retired from the Navy after serving 21 years as a Nurse Corps Officer. While in the Navy Ms. Iris continued her education but decided to redirect her medical skills towards treating those with behavioral and mental health conditions. She received her Masters of Science in Guidance and Human Development from Troy University in 1978. We feel so very lucky to have Ms. Iris as a colleague and friend. She truly enjoys helping her patients achieve the skills needed to be successful in every aspect of their lives.


MARY ELLENOR MAHON L.P.C.

Ms. Mahon has only been with our company for three years but she comes to us with many years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Ms. Ellenor, as she is known to all, is a graduate of Winthrop College in S.C. and she received a Masters of Psychological Services from USC. She was employed by the College of Charleston for 23 years as a therapist/counselor. Ms Ellenor feels the experience she gained while working with the students gave her insight and a different perspective of situations that she is able to use as a valuable tool in her continued work as a therapist with us. Ms. Ellenor is a compassionate person with a strong personal relationship with God, which she also feels has given her invaluable insight when working as a therapist.
